Girl said she wanted to collect a book. And like my mother before me, as long as its not drugs, liquor or smoking then I give my support. One book at a time. There are 22 books in this series so I want to make sure she finishes it before she gets the next book.
The frustrating thing about German grammar is they like to cut the verb and place the other half at the last of the sentence. So weird. Not so straightforward contrary to the people.
For example: “the government will be forthright in speaking out against human rights abuses”
German way would be like “the government will be forthright in SPEAKING against human rights abuses OUT” 😱
Is that weird or is that weird?
