The heat is here so it is time for rad tour. Rad means wheels and for us this means bicycle for Mann and me and scooter for the kids.
Cyclists in Germany 10 years old and above must ride on the road instead of payment and this is something we violate all the time. Right or not, it is the bicycle drivers who end up fighting for their lives in the hospital and not the crazy ones on 4-wheels. One of the reasons we get scooters for the kids instead.
So before I digress further, we drive to a city, find a free parking space and off we go violating the traffic rules with our 2-wheels if the scenic/park route is not available and making stops for a bit of fishing, playground and the restaurant where I always go for salad and dessert only.
Cities explored so far are Leipzig, Chemnitz and of course Dresden.
