Washing and Dating

Our washing machine went kaputt. In our 12 years together, this is our second machine. Apparently, nobody calls/comes to fix it so the only option is to buy a new one. But the nearest date it can be delivered is next week and the closest laundrymat is 50km away.

I could have hand washed everything I suppose but nah. Why should I? Am I now becoming entitled, obnoxious, opinionated self-absorbed woman like I see sometimes here in Europe? 🤔 Perhaps. Or perhaps I am also just feeling tired and old.

To order a washing machine and have it delivered, one could pay some extra to have it set-up and ready for you. Mann does all that so he just pays for the machine alone. But if you are a single woman, it could be downright more expensive. But Mann said that women have ways to get around the system. And some even have men somewhere for every job:

1. A man to father kids but does not stay because why should he when the woman is batshit crazy?

2. A man to date that hopefully “might” stay for good and pays for all her shit.

3. and lastly, an ordinary man that will do all the jobs of the first two men and more but can never get the woman for whatever excuses the woman has so she has him dangling on her fingertips and is on call to uhm, prepare the washing machine for example.

Dating life is a crazy world. I can only wish for the best when my kids’ time finally comes.

Greetings,

Karlota
