Or simply open air museum. This place is like 15 minutes drive from our hotel and it is made of several houses with roofs made of grass depicting how life was back in 1900s in the east side of Germany.
Something that was nostalgic for Mann since he grows up as a farm boy in Uckermark and their house is more or less set up in the same way. I am also familiar with some item like flat iron that uses coal because it was also used in Philippines back in the 1980s.
Family ticket cost only 10€ (600 pesos) and it was a good eye opener for kids who grow up with tablets and internet.
