Market Ice with Gabby

Time for the Christmas market all over Germany again and in our town, ice skating is the highlight.

I will check when my girl is more or less stop growing so I can buy her her own ice skating shoes. For now, I find it useless to buy skates when it will not fit next year.

In two days, this boy will turn 8. I asked him to make a list of birthday wishes and they were quite simple: a lego set and Gabby dollhouse the movie. And being open as he is, he told us that Gabby dollhouse is his big sister’s favorite show and he watched it with her. But now, her sister who is in puberty has different interests and he is watching them now alone.

He cried a bit because of these changes and it does not help that his best friend from Kindergarten (now separated because he went to a different grade school) refused to attend his birthday party because he has other friends now. We cannot do anything about his kindergarten friend but as for Gabby, Mann purchased the movie from Amazon and we all watched it together with his big sister as well.

Changes are part of life and sometimes we need to start from square one again but hopefully, I hope the kids know that whatever life may throw at them, they always have the family as their backup plan.

Are you adjusting well to Life’s changes?

Greetings,

Karlota
