We took our papa rabbit to the animal doctor to be castrated for 118 euro. If this is in Philippines, my father would have become a quack doctor and do the surgery by himself. Without anesthesia too just to save some money. But then again, they would not have a rabbit in the first place also knowing how much they cost.
Rabbit also needs 2 or 3 vaccines in the first year which will cost about 100 euro per rabbit and about 70 euro per rabbit in succeeding years.
But we are here now and kiwi, chikka, teddy and snowflakes have become a family in sickness and in health, for richer, for poorer, till death do us part.
With three white girls running amok tempting the poor rammler however, Kiwi has to be castrated. We simply cannot afford for them to multiply like there is no tomorrow.
Have you had your bunnies vaccinated/castrated yet?
Greetings,
Karlota
