Every child is accounted for in Germany so nobody gets left behind. This means that school is mandatory and must be registered in a school by the time they reached the age of 6.
To prove this, I received a letter from the state telling me that they have not received any record of my boy being registered yet in any school. Non-registered kids is an administrative offense with a penalty of up to 1,250 euro or 75,000 pesos.

But just to make sure that all is good because ahem, I am a law abiding citizen so help me god, I ran to the schools and I was told that there was some delay in the update of the system.
