We have a Pear/Birne tree in our garden and I love the fruit but I make Mann pick them for me because of these ugly thing growing on their leaves called pear rust.
They give me the creeps and I feel like I will start growing them too all over my body if I go near our Birne. Illogical I know but that is just how my brain thinks sometimes.
Anyway, I ordered Mann to get rid of all the Pear rusts on my poor Birne and he said it is difficult. Pears are prone to these fungi unless you exterminate all the Junipers within its 6km radius. So yeah, it sucks to be a Birne plant in the Northern Hemisphere.
