Tivoli Gardens is the second oldest amusement park in the whole world. But we did not go there. Instead, we drove for about 45 minutes passing through an underwater tunnel, a bridge, a toll counter that cost us 70€ for one way ticket and we reached Fotevikens which is somewhere south of Malmö.

We enjoyed this open air museum where we can see the houses and staff going about their daily lives the way viking people would be doing probably in their viking clothes and all. We also got entertained about King Eric who is constantly troubled with invasion threats from Danish King and a certain princess.

And when we are hungry, Smokey Restaurant is nearby offering delicious burgers and Korean popcorn chicken.
Swedish Krona is cheaper than the Danish Krone. Food items in Denmark cost about 20% more than in Germany but food prices in Sweden is about the same as in Germany.

All in all, it was a well-spent educational day. Probably much better than spending it at an amusement park and we happily recommend this place.
