Philippine’s tablea de cacao in its raw pure form where cacao beans are harvested, fermented, dried, peeled, grounded and formed into this shape.
No sugar, no emulsifiers and any other additives. Cheap and bitter. And we enjoyed it as a sikwati (cacao drink) for breakfast together with mango and puto maya (sticky rice).
Gotta love pinoy food. And mom is coming soon and will bring me some tablea. Yoohoo..
