Hello Kahlil Gibran

“Your children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of Life’s longing for itself… You may give them your love but not your thoughts, for they have their own thoughts. You may house their bodies but not their souls, for their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow…”

Kahlil Gibran

A schoolmate shared this poem in celebration of his son’s birthday. I love it. I was able to finish it in one minute or two. And I feel so smart afterwards. I think I should start making a list of poems I read also other than list of Korean/Japanese series I’ve watched.

And because I am interested with other works of Kahlil Gibran, I googled for more of his works. And I discovered the benefit of Kindle again. It’s cheaper and does not collect dust.

Have you read any works of Kahlil Gibran already?

Greetings,

Karlota
