Children’s Day is celebrated in Germany. I think. At least, there is always activity related to it in our small town.
And for this year, we went to our local museum where we got to see a preview of a Theater piece titled Kinder Punsch. The actual show will be in November which I plan to drag my kids to as well. It is a theater piece by the locals for the locals and I really want to support the group.
Other activities in the museum geared for the kids were face painting, glitter tattoo, fairy tale puppet show, Japanese calligraphy where girl learned how to write her name, a lot of crafting and of course there are waffles and drinks available at the café for the hungry wolves.
I hope your kids get to enjoy the day being a kid as well.
