A long way to Rochlitz

We started early for a weekend. First is an hour drive to go fishing in Chemnitz river near Alte Eisenbahnbrücke. You know, there was a time I told myself to marry a guy in Uniform and realized that I got a man who loves to wear his fishing uniform. But a uniform is a uniform or? Especially if he catches a 55cm Bachforelle (trout) that I am eager to chew on.

Lunch is at Wechselburg but we cannot find anything to eat so after a bit of walking around the church and the surrounding area, we moved on to Rochlitz where an Indian Restaurant was open given that it was Sunday.

Rochlitz castle is my favorite castle/museum by far. Paid €18 for all of us and they made it fun for the kids to find the next door to explore like a puzzle and there were a total of 23 doors that lead us around the entire castle all the way up to the tower and down to the torture room in the basement.

Truly worth it. 👍👍👍

Dinner at Karls Erdbeerhof again in Döbeln for kids to enjoy their pasta and playground. Again, everyone is happy. Fishing for papa, castles for me and playground/food for the kids.

Hope yours is as fun as ours.

Greetings,

Karlota
