Our future neighbors from India were dressed in their finery today for a ritual which they do before the start of construction.
And they left a tray of fruits, flower and small gifts on our door which they asked for us to take because according to them, its a practice they do in India.
I am going to love having an indian neighbors. More trays of goodies please. ðŸ¤
Philippines has rituals or beliefs also when it comes to constructions like placing coins and chicken blood on the foundations. My parents would know more about these things in detail.
I remember vaguely about seeing coins on our stairs in Philippines but I did not do anything when we have our house built in Germany. I have no culture at all. 🤫
