Already retired and receiving pension, but she freelance and sells death insurance or Sterbegeldversicherung as we call it in Germany.
With our insurance company HanseMerkur, they offer funeral insurance also for a minimum of 8 euro per month (500 pesos). Much much cheaper that in Philippines at 1100 pesos or about 18 euro.
A funeral service in germany can cost about 4000 to 7000 euro. That is a lot of money to be anxious about next to the loss of loved ones.
Wonder if I should already start paying for my own funeral so that my kids will not have to worry about it someday. Do you think about your own funeral party yet? You are the host celebrant for this event after all. 🤪
