We stayed in this vacation park about 6 years ago and we thought to stay there again for a week. We rented an apartment for 6 people and we got fresh linens without towels that we have to put on by ourselves. Place is clean but not the cleanest with cobwebs and dust in some places. Bathroom is itty bitty and sink is clogged. We are not very picky maaryat so we could have all lived with it for some days.
What we HATE though is this very loud fire alarm that kept going off falsely almost everyday. One time it went off in the middle of the night for like 10 minutes disturbing my beautiful snore.
Therefore we conclude: never again at Hengelhoef.
Unless perhaps they do a complete renovation and fix some of its facilities. But then again, perhaps camping is just not my style of holiday. I do not want to cook or clean to be able to feel like I am on holiday and yet I have to do these still albeit in a different place.
And this I find unmöglich. 🤨
