A friend since grade school is moving to Germany from America on account of her husband, an American soldier.
She asked me why there is no aircon in the apartments. I said aircon is not yet popular but being naked is.
In the east side of Germany at least, there is a strong culture of naturism and we call it FKK or free body culture.
I think she is missing America now and all the comforts that it offers.
Culture shock sucks I know!
P.S. BBC news today shows a naked man from Berlin chasing after some pigs.
